Welcome. I’m Cindy Dunn, President of CCAD inc. A Page Setup is comprised of all the parameters found in the Plot window. Named Page Setups are saved in drawings, are used to quickly restore a set of Plot parameters and can be imported into other drawings (dwg). Named Page Setups can also be used in the Publish window to override the current Plot parameters of layouts being printed.

To create a Named Page Setup, select the PAGESETUP command. Choose the New button. Adjust the desired Plot parameters and select OK.

Note that a Model Tab Name Page Setup cannot be applied to a Layout and visa versa.

You can apply a Page Setup to a layout, Rename a Page Setup or Delete a Page Setup in the main Page Setup window.

A Named Page Setup from can be imported in the Page Setup window, the Plot window or the Publish command.

Once you’ve created a Named Page Setup you can apply it when Plotting or Publishing. When using the Plot command, you can choose a Named Page Setup from the drop down in the upper left corner of the window. In the Publish command you can apply a Named Page Setup from any of the listed drawings to one or more of the listed drawings.
