CAD Bytes Webinars

AutoCAD CAD Bytes WebinarCCAD's CAD Bytes Webinars are LIVE, instructor led training sessions that cover timely topics key to maximizing performance for established AutoCAD users. There is a question and answer period after each webinar, and registered guests may submit questions via email for up to four weeks after the webinar. Webinars range in length from 1 to 2 hours.

New CAD Bytes Webinars are regularly added, so be sure to check our AutoCAD Training Calendar.

Creating Block Libraries

Reusing shapes and standard components as blocks saves time and imposes consistency in CAD drawings. The Creating Block Libraries webinar explores techniques to organize blocks so they can be quickly inserted by anyone your workgroup. If your drawings include standard components or symbols, you will want to attend.
Length: 1 hour. Price: $59

Using Layouts & Managing Scales

The display size (representation) of annotation can be automatically adjusted to the view scale so similar features (dimensions, text, hatches, blocks) appear the same size on the sheet of paper. The appearance of layers (color, linetype, lineweight) can be controlled in viewports on a viewport by viewport basis.
Length: 1 hour. Price: $59

Creating AutoCAD Template Files

Creating a template is probably the single most productive act an AutoCAD user can perform. A template drawing is used to begin a new drawing with the layers, text styles, dimension styles, linetypes and layouts (including the title block) typically used in a particular type of drawing.
Length: 2 hours. Price: $99

Linking Drawings, Images & PDF's

Many resources can be utilized to create an engineering document. AutoCAD drawings can be a composite of new geometry, existing drawings, images, PDF's and certain other CAD file formats. This webinar will show you how to create an AutoCAD drawing using several different resources.
Length: 2 hours. Price: $99

Updating Older AutoCAD Drawings

This webinar demonstrates how to modernize an existing drawing. The features in AutoCAD's current release are applied, a CAD Standards file is created and blocks are updated in an older drawing in this CAD Bytes webinar.
Length: 2 hours. Price: $99

Customizing the User Interface

The AutoCAD User Interface is defined in a Custom User Interface (CUI) file. This file controls the toolbars, ribbons, menus and double-click actions among other user interface elements.
Length: 1 hour. Price: $59

Printing & Emailing Multiple Drawings

Projects are rarely comprised of just one sheet or file. Printing or emailing an entire project can be time-consuming unless you use the PUBLISH or eTRANSMIT command to handle multiple sheets from several files.
Length: 1 hour. Price: $59

Efficient & Accurate Drawing Techniques

The commands and methods you choose have a big impact on how quickly and precisely shapes are drawn. Efficient & Accurate Drawing Techniques will explore several approaches to drawing that will speed up the creation process while ensuring accuracy. If you are looking to add to your "bag of tricks", you will want to attend.
Length: 1 hour. Price: $59

Mixing Metric & Inches

Working in both metric and inches is simple with the proper settings and approach. The Mixing Metric & Inches webinar covers the settings required to create and dimension designs in each measurement system, convert between metric and inch as well as how to apply dual dimensioning. If you have ever struggled to fit metric components in an inch drawing (or visa versa), you will want to attend.
Length: 1 hour. Price: $59
