This two day workshop covers the fundamentals of Autolisp programming for the AutoCAD user. Participants will learn the basics of programming, beginning with the fundamentals of Autolisp, understanding data types, working with variables, getting user input and planning a program. They will learn to calculate points used with AutoCAD commands in programs to automate the drawing of figures. Functions related to selecting and modifying objects via Autolisp rather than AutoCAD commands will be introduced. Numerous programming examples will be explored that participants can use in developing their own applications.
